Oregon Sea Grant

Oregon Sea Grant is committed to Web accessibility. Our goal is to meet or exceed the standards set by section 508 of the U.S. Rehabilitation Act and by the Web Accessibility Initiative of the World Wide Web Consortium. That includes:

• Making sure all non-text elements are appropriately tagged for screen-reading devices
• Maintaining site structures that can be navigated without the use of a mouse
• Providing text equivalents for file formats (.pdfs, audio/video files) that can pose accessibility problems.
• Testing the site to make sure it works in a variety of browsers and assistive technology.
