  1. Sea Grant Week – Planning for the Assembly meeting at Sea Grant week includes: Jack Thigpen, Jim Falk, Mike Spranger, Brian Allee.  Local arrangements will be coordinated by  Jim Fawcett and Paul Olin.
  2. Assembly 2008 meeting will be held in Washington State.  Pete Granger will take the lead on that meeting.
  3. Awards. Outreach award to be presented at Sea Grant week – Paul Olin will manage this and Jim Hurley will help out.  Wick award (to be presented at the Assembly 2008 meeting) will be coordinated by Pete Granger.
  4. Jon Kramer has put forth a plan for a new network for SGA.  It creates a network advisory council made up of 8 people (see attached pdf for outline of this).  Paul Olin suggested that the four network leaders be ex-officio members of the SGA board. This would allow for a more direct line of communication. This also gives us all one less meeting to attend and avoids the need for an intermediary step.  The ExComm agreed that this will be our suggestion to the SGA.
  5. ExComm meeting during SGA.  Meeting will be on Sunday, March 4th at 1 pm.  Also on the agenda will be Brown Bags, SG Academy, using the Assembly for communicating with Congress.  Brian Allee, John Woeste, NSGO and Paul Anderson will be invited.

Meeting adjourned at 2 pm EST.
