Sea Grant Fellowship:

Oregon Natural Resources Fellowship

The Natural Resource Policy Fellowship will place one graduate student fellow in an Oregon state agency for one year beginning in July 2008. This fellowship is intended to give a student first-hand experience in natural resource policy at the state level. The student chosen for the fellowship will interview with Oregon state agencies to find the best fit for the student and the agency.

Application Deadline: April 4, 2008

Who May Apply

Graduate students from any Oregon college or university with a strong interest in natural resource policy are encouraged to apply. It is preferable that students have completed or almost completed their degree before the start of this fellowship. Women and underrepresented minorities are encouraged to apply.

Fellowship Award

This fellowship will pay $30,000 for 12 months; plus $2,000 for educational supplies and travel expenses.

How To Apply

Please submit the materials listed below electronically to seagrant.admin@oregonstate.edu by the specified deadline.

Interviews will be scheduled in mid-April and the selected fellow will interview with Agency offices in May or early June. This fellowship is scheduled to being on or about July 1.
