Sea Grant People

Sea Grant faculty, staff and advisor at working meeting

Faculty and staff bring diverse backgrounds, knowledge to Sea Grant

OSG includes people from a wide range of personal and professional backgrounds: Scientists, scholars, seasoned Extension faculty; commercial fishermen, writers and photographers, educators and program support staff.

We count nearly 50 people - some fulltime, some part - among the Sea Grant "family" - more, if you include the dozens of student scholars supported each year by Sea Grant research and fellowship grants. Many wear multiple hats, holding research, teaching and management appointments with academic departments at Oregon State University and additional responsibilities with OSU Extension.

While our program offices are located on the OSU campus in Corvallis,  nearly half of our people are based on the coast, from Gold Beach to Astoria, with a large cluster at the Hatfield Marine Science Center in Newport, where we manage the popular Visitor Center as a learning laboratory.

Our online directory includes profile and contact information for each of our faculty and staff. For your convenience, we also offer a printable phone and email list in Excel format.
