Becca Schiewe works directly with the public and visiting school groups in the HMSC Visitor Center, and also handles administrative duties associated with the center's active volunteer base. She holds a BS in Fisheries and Wildlife Biology and is working toward an MS in Science Education at OSU. As an undergraduate, Becca worked as an HMSC summer intern; after graduating, she worked as an avian field biologist and environmental educator. Becca reconnected with the HMSC community while working as a Coastal Wildlife Education Specialist for the US Fish and Wildlife Oregon Coast Complex through the Americorps program. In 2007 she began working in the Visitor Center as Museum Assistant and in 2008 became Volunteer Coordinator.
