NOTE: Because of rising postage costs and unpredictable customs fees, we no longer accept orders from outside the US. You will find many of our publications availabe for free download here and on the National Sea Grant Library site.

Sales & shipping policies

Payment

We accept payment by check (payable to Oregon State University), credit card, and (for institutional customers only) by purchase orders.

Discounts

We offer discounts to schools, libraries, and retailers. Please contact us for a quote.

Returns and refunds

We accept returns and offer refunds only for goods damaged in shipping. 

Shipping and delivery

All orders are shipped by the least expensive method possible, unless otherwise requested.

Our shipping rates can be viewed on our e-commerce store. Where possible, we will combine your order to give you the best available rate.

Orders are generally filled within 2-4 weeks. If an item is out of stock or out of print, we will notify you and give you the opportunity to cancel your order. Please note that we process and ship orders only on weekdays; if you need a publication or video by a particular date, plan ahead and call if you have any questions.

Free publications

We will ship up to up to 10 copies, total (not per title), of our free publications to U.S. customers with no shipping charge.  If you order more than 10 free items, we will charge 25 cents for each item over 10. Many of our free publications are available for download, in printable .pdf and plain text formats.

Bulk orders and discounts

To inquire about bulk orders, contact our publications distribution coordinator by phone or email. We also offer discounts to schools, libraries, and retailers.
