The Systems Science in Marine Biology group at Oregon State University received funding from Oregon Sea Grant to use the Anthopleura elegantissima sea anemone as a model for studying responses to climate change. Anthopleura elegantissima is a good model because it's commonly found in tidepools from Baja California to Alaska and it has a symbiotic relationship with algae. This OSG-funded video, which was filmed and edited by Oregon State University, explains the biology of sea anemones.
