According to a recently released report by Oregon State University Extension Service Economist Bruce Sorte, the Oregon Sea Grant-operated Visitor Center at Hatfield Marine Science Center annually supports $7.6 million in income for Oregon residents, $5.4 million of which supports Lincoln County residents.

On Friday, May 4, Sorte will give a Brown Bag Lunch talk on that report, "Measuring public goods like education and science in a market framework—how is it done, and is it necessary?” from 12 to 1 pm in the HMSC Guin Library Seminar Room. We hope you'll join us.
