The deep-sea provides a unique habitat to a variety of organisms. Join us for our day-long program as we explore the adaptations that enable these critters to thrive in the dark depths of the ocean. Students will learn about tools and methods researchers use to study deep-sea coral communities, investigate organisms that call hydrothermal vents home, and more.

For this program, students are divided by grade levels, PK-1st, 2-4, 5-7, and 8-12. PreK-1 grade students need to be accompanied by an adult the entire program.

NEW THIS YEAR - Participants in the PreK-1 grade level will engage in programming from 10:30 am - 1:30 pm, including two 1-hour hands-on classes, lunch and visitor center exploration. The cost for the PreK-1 grade level is $20 per student. The cost for other grade levels (2-4, 5-7, or 8-12) is $30 per student.

Program descriptions and registration information are located on our homeschool day website.
