Anne Hayden-Lesmeister completed her Ph.D. in environmental resources and policy at Southern Illinois University. She has conducted interdisciplinary research on diverse river systems, ranging from headwater streams in semi-arid settings to large, highly modified rivers. Her most recent research focuses on using hydraulic modeling to evaluate the impact of proposed river restoration projects in the nation’s largest river swamp, the Atchafalaya River Basin in Louisiana. She is Oregon Sea Grant's 2018-19 STAC Fellow.
