Cody manages Oregon Sea Grant’s main Facebook, Twitter and Instagram pages. He has a master’s degree in marine biology and coastal zone management from Nova Southeastern University and a bachelor’s degree in biology from Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania. He is a co-founder of travel company Beyond the Map and was a communications coordinator for The Orianne Society in 2017-18. He was a reefs outreach and education manager for the Florida Department of Environmental Protection in 2014-15.
