Oregon Sea Grant

Cathy's current duties include:

• Metrics and measures coordinator: Collects, analyzes/evaluates and reports our faculty’s activity data to NOAA Sea Grant (Federal) through their Planning, Implementation, and Evaluation Resources (PIER) system. Reviews the quality of that data and provides assistance to faculty on new reporting systems.
• Safety Coordinator for Oregon Sea Grant
• Coffee with Colleagues technical assistant
• Office coordinator, building manager, and OSU Facilities liaison at our University Plaza headquarters
• Member of the Coastal Development Thematic Area Working Group
• Technology lead and point of contact with OSU IT services for our University Plaza headquarters
• Works on special projects such as planning, research and assistance to administration

Current Projects:

eSeaGrant - Working with faculty and a dozen other Sea Grant institutions toward implementation and refinement of a cloud-based Project Management and RFP system called eSeaGrant.

Digital Measures training - Assisting internal faculty in understanding how to use the DM system to record their work activity.
