Jenny coordinates Oregon Sea Grant's undergraduate programs and leads Oregon Sea Grant's Justice, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion group. She received her Ph.D. in Geology and Geophysics from the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa, where she then spent 12 years as faculty. Her primary research interests include evidence-based practices for effective STEM instruction, the role of culture and science in supporting undergraduate pathways to four-year degree completion, and community-engaged research.
