Megan Kleibacker assists the Oregon Sea Grant director with special projects; is the primary coordinator of the advisory council, the strategy team, and the program's annual reporting effort; and is a member of OSG's operations team. She is also the program's lead human resources contact.
Megan began working for Oregon State University in 2004 and came to Sea Grant in 2007. She has a background in watershed education, conducting needs assessments, event planning, developing outreach materials, and managing team projects, as well as training in program evaluation and group facilitation. Prior to assuming her current position, she served as the Oregon Sea Grant Extension watershed team coordinator, with projects including the StreamWebs student stewardship education network, low-impact development and Stormwater Solutions, and the Oregon Coastal Master Naturalist Program. She has also served as the research coordinator for the CyberLab program at HSMC and was the coordinator for the Clean Vessel Act education program.
