Amanda Gladics

Based at the Oregon State University Extension – Clatsop County office in Astoria, Amanda Gladics provides community education programs that foster sustainability of fishery resources, and the public's understanding of those resources. She works closely with commercial fishermen, researchers, and managers to develop innovative solutions for reducing bycatch fisheries, and conducts public education for coastal residents and visitors through a variety of community outreach and engagement efforts. Gladics earned a B.S. in natural resources and an M.S. in marine resource management, both at Oregon State University, and has a background in marine ecology and environmental education.
