Your Support Increases Opportunities
Oregon Sea Grant supports thriving coastal communities and ecosystems in Oregon. We connect with coastal residents, visitors, students and volunteers to understand and address some of the most critical issues facing our coasts. Your support will help us continue that work.

Oregon Sea Grant General Fund
Oregon Sea Grant supports research, outreach and engagement, and education on a wide variety of topics important to our coastal communities, ranging from coastal hazards to fisheries to community resilience. Your support will help us continue this important work.
Scholarships
Oregon Sea Grant’s scholars program supports a variety of paid, hands-on graduate and undergraduate scholarships, fellowships and internships in marine science and policy. We are working towards developing a diverse ocean workforce that understands coastal communities' technical and social challenges and the natural environment. Your donation will help expand support for scholars conducting societally-relevant research and developing real-world experiences right here in Oregon.
Marine Education
Oregon Sea Grant's marine education program is dedicated to increasing ocean literacy for people of all ages and backgrounds. We provide hands-on lab and field experiences for students of all ages, summer camps and career exploration programs for budding marine enthusiasts, and marine science and engineering workshops for educators. Your support will help inspire future generations, increase understanding, and promote stewardship of our coastal and marine environments.
Hatfield Visitor Center
Thousands of visitors from Oregon and across the globe pass through the doors of the Visitor Center annually to see the exhibits, join in hands-on activities and learn about marine animals and issues facing the coast. Your support will help us continue creating dynamic, research-based exhibits, conduct unique science education programs for all ages, and pioneer innovative learning research. Donations also help us feed and care for our marine animals, and host special events visitors enjoy.
