The West Coast Sea Grant Watershed and Invasive Species Education (WISE) program provides teachers with opportunities to learn about emerging watershed issues. They can then use these topics as tools to engage their students in science learning and community action. We provide workshops, class visits, a blog, an email listserve, and support for stewardship community action projects. Since 2007 we have trained more than 70 teachers and reached more than 4,500 students.
