The Oregon Sea Grant College Program invites preliminary proposals from researchers who are affiliated with any Oregon institution of higher education for research projects that address cutting-edge socioeconomic and biophysical science related to important marine and coastal issues.

Commercial fishermen can now check forecasts for ocean conditions off the Pacific Northwest coastline with an easy-to-use, interactive, online map.
Our offices at University Plaza on the OSU campus are closed Thursday and Friday, March 3-4, so our staff can attend a two day meeting. Most of us will be reachable by email while away from the office.

Visitors to the Oregon coast may find a new publication from Oregon Sea Grant useful when strolling the docks or watching commercial fishers at work. "Boats of the Oregon Coast," a pocket-size field guide, depicts and describes 18 different fishing and service vessels seen along the Oregon coast.
