Fun fact: A soupfin shark holds the record for the longest time a tag has been deployed on a shark, lasting almost 42 years. (Also known as a tope shark)

The pale underbelly of a soupfin shark is seen as it dives underwater to catch fish. A ray of light breaks through the dark waters.
